Avi sighed as her pencil hit paper. Avi was one of the top students in the class and it was a abundance of hard work that got her there. Doing extra studying before class is one of her habits, especially since their teacher was particularly lazy. Stein, an interesting specimen from what she has gathered, is suffering from madness such as her. A skilled meister though but a comedian at heart, earning the respect of many students, including her.
It didn't take long for Mac to finally show up, accompanied by the lady-killer Lucas. Avi didn't particularly enjoy Lucus as a person. He was at least amusing to watch, but his attempts to hit on her have fallen deaf to her ears. As Mac greeted her, Avi smiled back and harbored a simple wave, responding with "Oh. Glad to hear that. Are you just saying that to make me feel better?" when Mac complimented her cooking. Beneath that bad boy and tough exterior, Mac was a kind person, it wouldn't surprise her that he forcefully gulped the meal down just to make her feel better about her inept cooking.
As Mac just woke up, it would be natural to assume he hasn't looked at the board. "If you haven't looked at the mission board yet, our mission today is the harvesting of the soul of Edgar A. Poe. Avi couldn't imagine a respected poet would be deemed a target, but orders were orders. Lord Death knew best after-all. Speaking of Death, Avi heard of his son enrolling into the academy. When Avi thought she would run out of interesting personas, a reaper's son came in to save the day. Hopefully he wasn't too aggressive, from what she has heard, he is a bit of a problem child, as Avi would at least like to get a bit closer to observe. After a brief time of waiting, Mr. Stein finally decided to stand up, straightening his papers using the desk. He finally opened his mouth to speak a few words of wisdom.
Looking at the time from a clock in the classroom, it seemed the class was about to start, even if the bell tolled 15 minutes ago.
