(Sorry about that, I'll make sure I don't do it again!)
James was quite surprised at her question, and smiled, attempting to remember his MOS's.
My last MOS before joining the Seals was 0372. I was 0369, squad leader, while I served with the man you just met. Although, I'm surprised at your' attitude. Most people in your position view themselves as the best thing the world has ever seen, but you, you're just another one of us regular people. It's refreshing. And as for the food, it's not an MRE, I'm excited."
Although he had to wonder whether she might have spent time on a base at a younger age, the MOS isn't a well known fact of the US Marines. The food was quick to distract James' mind from the subject. Those were some nice ribs. He dove right into them as though he hadn't ever eaten before. "I'm definitely coming back here" He said as he finished his ribs, in what might have been a minute, tops. The cabbage wasn't his favorite, but it was still quite good, and he managed to finish it within a few minutes as well.
"That was awesome. How have I never heard of this place? " James asked, before getting his wallet out.
