"So I'm going to guess that's an Xbox?" said James, which instantly caused Eun Bi to giggle aloud. It was rare for a guy James' age to not be into Xbox at all, and so while she was used to guys usually challenging her game knowledge because of her Gender she wasn't quite used to a man willing to admit he was a novice.
Eun Bi would point out where the mini Kitchen was and assure James that he was able to get whatever refreshments he wanted before grabbing the TV remote and flouncing down on the couch. With one remote she was able to turn on both the Xbox and the TV, and after a minute or two she'd have her headset on as the match began.
As usual Eun Bi owned her character and made frequent light-hearted jabs at her teammates as she played. She'd noticed James squirming a bit in his seat from out of the corner of her eyed but didn't think much of it, that is until the man suddenly yelled out at her; "Can you turn on anything else?"
"Excuse me?" Eun Bi responded, half offended and half confused. She wasn't about to throw the match, so she'd make a point to look back and forth between the TV and James as she waited for him to respond.
Much to her disappointment she didn't really get an explanation, and her new bodyguard would instead excuse himself.
Eun Bi finished her match on COD before standing up from the couch and following the same path James had just taken moments ago. He hadn't gone far so he was easy to find, and though his outburst kind of made her nervous she still felt compelled to reach out and place her hand on his shoulder.
"Um, I could be wrong but I'm gonna guess there was something more behind that outburst than you just not liking Call of Duty."
She didn't want to pry, but she also didn't want the guy to think she was uncaring or inconsiderate to his feelings.
"Look," Eun Bi began as she dropped her hand from James' shoulder and took a seat on a stool a few feet away from where they were standing. "I don't want to be some annoyingly noisy broad, so um, if you have some kind of issue with Call of Duty and don't wanna get into why, just let me know and I won't play it again in front of you - deal?"
Most people would have been more freaked out than Eun Bi was, but she always billed herself as an understanding individual and there was something real and humble she liked about James, so she was more willing to work with some weird quirks he might have.
