The distant humming came to Khay's ears like a siren call; she tilted her head to listen, and then affixed her eyes on those of the undead creature that was wandering aimlessly.

A forked, serpentine tongue flitted out to lick Khay's lips. This small creature, confused and lost though it appeared, was the font or focus of immense power. That made her quite charming to Khay, even if it wasn't something the little thing even recognized it had yet. But that's what entities such as Khay were for.

She was tall, sure footed, and quick to move towards the young-looking girl, an expression of calm hospitality on her face and her lips parted just enough to reveal a row of jagged teeth. "Hello," she greets quietly, her voice being eaten by the surrounding silence; it was soft, but layered with an otherworldly sort of attribute, as if it were both not here and everywhere at the same time.

"You look lost... are you alright?" As she spoke, Khay drooped her eyelids and reached out with her mind- she wouldn't try to pry into the roiling mind of the recently risen, but it would help her get a feel for the energies around her- and what she might want, what she might need, and ultimately what she might do well to understand.
