Dytto knew she was fucked. She just knew it and again, she was blaming Nathan and partly, now, Natalya because neither of them had the foresight to recall that she should not be alone. Correction - she should not be alone with Esperanza. Because then Dytto fell on her typical I-can't-deal disposition, which included unnecessary flirtation. Flirtation was a part of her bravado and in all honesty, she hated it. At least when it came to Esperanza because nothing was going to come of it - she wouldn't let it. At least, she hoped she wouldn't. It seemed, now, more like wishful thinking than actually solidified plan.
But no, the real reason she was fucked was because she giggled. She fucking giggled. Any other person would giggle and it was fine. You're around a crush? Naturally, a giggle will arise. Perfectly fine. Absolutely nothing wrong with that except...except it was. Dytto giggled and she only did that around her friends and that's rare itself. Dytto was known for chuckling or just full-out laughing, there was a hardly an in between. And she giggled - which honestly wasn't her fault. It was Esperanza. Who the hell told her to make a cute face when she realized that she was the new cheer captain? Abso-fucking-lutely no one, that's who. So, Dytto had to tell herself that giggling was no fault of her own, of course, and that it was simply a reaction - along with the soft, amused smile she was sporting - because someone was cute. But she was still fucked and it honestly should not take either of her best friends that long to get food.
On second thought, she thought, recalling the "oh, fuck me" Esperanza started her little memory lane trip about her leadership status as the Latina's tongue peeked out and, distracting Dytto, licked her lips. Dytto really had to maintain eye contact at that point. Fuck me. Which she totally did not say at all because why would she? Totally not conducive to a healthy friendship...you know, since all she wanted to do was be friends with Esperanza. Nope, nothing more than that. Dytto distantly heard Esperanza questioning her about the late nights followed by the offer of meeting up tonight. Which should be a firm, very resolute no. It should and Dytto was a smart girl. Don't be like Eve in the bible and give in to temptation. Temptation is bad - and she definitely heard when Esperanza said she bet that Dytto looked smoking hot in her jammies. Definitely...since, there's only so much not hearing a person can do when the other person literally steps into your space to whisper in your ear. Dytto didn't jump because, obviously she's no punk bitch, but even she couldn't hide the minuscule shudder that ran up her spine at feeling Esperanza's breath too close to her ear. Which definitely was not an erogenous zone...in any way. Definitely not.
Dytto cleared her throat before forming a smirk of her own, twirling her fingers through her hair as she met Esperanza's gaze again because, again, she's no punk bitch, and eye contact was pivotal in proving that. "Well, she drawled, voice a bit huskier than it honestly should be but at this point, she was going with it, "I can show you better than I can tell you and tonight'll be perfect." She chuckled to herself, not at all ashamed to blatantly let her gaze fall to Esperanza's lips before rising to her eyes again. Since Dytto had never been scared of her sexuality. Wasn't a thing to be scared of, in her head, but then again, she didn't have Esperanza's social standing to actually give a fuck. "Besides, with the right...incentives," again, she definitely took a peek at Esperanza's lips again since she seemed to be feeling even more brazen than normal, "Who knows? Maybe late nights'll be more enjoyable for me this year." And that honestly was enough flirting at the moment for Dytto because she wasn't supposed to be flirting with Esperanza at all - totally Nate's fault, if she hadn't made that clear - so she stole a chip off the Latina's plate despite hearing her earlier proclamation of anger at her chips being stolen.
