With the angel in the bathtub with her, in the private bathroom that only Lilim was allowed into, it was one thing. She didn't really mind the red that wafted off of Celeste in the bathwater, even though she probably should have. Where the heck was Cam, anyways? She tried visiting his room earlier so they could talk about Kitra and her weird actions as of late but he wasn't in his room, and it wasn't like he was the type to nap anywhere else. Celeste was being a negative goose, and Lilim wantd her to keep spirited because it was funner to talk to someone who wasn't broken. "I'm gonna tell you what I used to tell Buer before he died." Lilim closed her eyes, a little minx-like smile on her face. "He always hated doing homework, right? So when he gave up, I told him that no matter what, there's always an answer!"
Her wings, dripping wet from the bathwater, furled and unfurled. She still had no idea how to maintain a human appearance, but Lil liked it better this way. Her wings were like, a permanent feature at this point. Celeste was still being sad, though, saying that she wasn't really considered an angel anymore, now that she lost a wing.. Lilim felt a little tug in her chest, as if she could relate to that. "Demons are supposed to be strong and love war." The succubus stated loftily. "They're supposed to be able to keep their demon sides inside and not let the monster form out." Her wings wiggled a little at this, shamefully. "They're supposed to have super strong powers that can be used to kill others."
She sighed a little, gently washing Celeste, talking to distract herself from the pain she absorbed. "I'm not really any of that! I'm super weak and stuff, and war is scary, so I'm not much of a demon or anything, hehe." It was probably a weird sort of comfort so she shrugged, listening to Celeste talk about her old life, about freedom, asking why she was hated so much. "I don't think she hates you." Lilim said quietly, shaking her head. "She just hates what you symbolize! You represent a happy family, and that's something we can never have again." The family of nine was now reduced to three broken members.
"No one's really free, you know? Even me, I can't go fly or anything because Kitra needs me. Kitra can't leave because she's Queen and has to protect what's left of us." It was true, wasn't it? Freedom was never real, there was o such thing. Celeste was saying weird things, sad things, and Lilim wiggled in the bath. "The family isn't complete without them!" Every day, Lilim missed them all, she missed Ronove's arrogant laughter, she missed how Zepar would always try her hardest to improve herself, she missed how Furfur and Kitra were always fighting and laughing together, how she, Cam, and Buer would sit around and play and eat and read comic books while they were supposed to be training! She missed all of those things. "I have to believe it'll work!" That's what Lilim decided and that's what she'd do.
Kitra felt lost and strange. She didn't like it, she was never the one to make decisions or anything. She was always the one following orders - either Fur's orders, or Zep's, or Ron's, or even Father. So even if she could make war strategies for invading Heaven, she was always unsure. "What would you do, Fur?" Fur was a warrior, Fur was incredibly strong, she was going to fight one of the Angel Princes for the title of Taurus if she could. Fur would choose war, right? She would want the war to continue, wouldn't she? "Avara, send these plans to General Inferni." Minerva, of the Wrath Tribe. She was incredibly strong, and Kitra trusted her strength. "Yes, Queen." Avara, her servant, said, taking the new plans. "You should get some rest, you look worn out, Kitra." Kitra shot him a glare and left her room. She needed to rest? She was the Demon Queen, she wasn't that weak. She needed to practice more and get stronger, so she could claim Scorpio as her own.
