Celeste shrunk back when Lilim began to wash her, flinching at even the most gentle of touch. It was clear that fragments had begun to appear in the porcelain doll, but she wasn't completely broken, not yet. "Do you know what the last thing I said to my mother was? I told her she was ruining my life. Now I'll never get to see her again," Celeste was wrong, she was horribly wrong, her Mother had simply been protecting her from all of this. "I'll never get to tell her that I didn't mean it." There was always an answer? No, not in this case. It mattered not what answer Celeste had given Kitra, the demon had begun the torture even before she could interrogate her. How was being treated so unjustly the equivalent of an answer? "What's the answer to this one then? There is none." There was no right here, no justice, not in the land of demons.
Lilim unfurled her wings and in a way it felt like a taunt. Here this demon was, in her bat winged glory with her large chest and shiny pink hair, compared to Celeste who was average at most and her only striking feature really being her startling white hair that reflected the colors of the world around it. Right now it was a combination of red and yellow and smelled slightly like urine thanks to Kitra. "You're still young, no one expects much of anything from you yet." As the youngest, Celeste could relate. No one really expected anything much of her. Her parents would have probably paired her up with a fine noble house that could protect her. There were a few suitors that had taken a fancy to her, although they probably just wanted to dip their pinkies into the ring to get a hold of some sort of power. There were corrupt demons, but angels could be downright nasty when they wanted to be. Like Raphael, he was a smooth talker, always dropping subtle insults disguised as compliments. As a child, he would often get mistaken for a girl due to his feminine appearance and he uses it to his advantage.
"I'm not strong either, I'm the weak link and now, it looks like I'll be the one to drag the family name through the mud." Yes Lilim was awfully nice for a demon, even though she was only tending to Celeste so that she could practice using her ability. Lilim had begun using the soap to clean her, more blood and dirt rising to the surface. Her hair became light and fluffy white once more as the blood and bodily fluids were soaked away. Taking a bath was almost like being born anew, it was refreshing and relaxing, even now, sitting in a tub beside the demon. For some reason, Celeste couldn't bring herself to hate Lilim, even if the girl was just using her as a practice doll. Perhaps it was some sort of pheromone succubi released, she had heard that they secreted some sort of chemical that could make one fall in love at the first glance. "My only talent is painting," Celeste whispered.
"I wanted to be in an art show in town, but I wasn't allowed. Everyone scolded me, but Mizuki, my big sister, she wanted to support me. She told me I could do or be anything." Celeste began to shrink, literally. Her body became smaller and smaller as her light ability was activated. Celeste wasn't sure why it was happening now, but her body suddenly changed into the form of a kitten. "Mew!" The Princess cried out, trying to stay afloat in the tub.
