Truthfully, Tom did not know why he had decided to go to the party tonight. He wasn't much of a people person. Don't get him wrong, he did have a social life, but he preferred small groups of people to a large mass of bodies pressing up against each other in an orgy of noise and lust. Still, he supposed he did not have anything to do this night and he did not necessarily feel like holing himself in his room and playing on his Xbox One until he fell asleep.
Hearing his roommate's voice, he said nothing as he finished dressing himself, knowing that she was most likely already out the door. He looked at himself in a mirror. It was a simple, nondescript outfit. He was never one to keep up with fashion. With a smile, he made his way out of his apartment, planning on taking his new corolla to the club. Hearing the familiar voice of his roommate, he smiled slightly.
"You know, if you had waited a few minutes, I would have offered to give you a ride," he told her with a slight grin.
