"You, you're despicable." Celeste rose to her feet, shaking from a lack of energy. "Do you think Lilim was treated like this when she was captured? She was given a bed and hot food and clothes. She wasn't tortured for information, she wasn't chained up to the wall like a dog." Her hands clenched into fists. "Now you've made her a prisoner in her own home. How is this any different?" Further, they would have had no reason to abduct her. "You're the one whose put her in danger! If you hadn't taken me, there would be no reason for a hostage of their own!" Kitra had committed a sin against the angels and she would not be forgiven, not after seeing how they had been treating Celeste. If she ever did get out of here, her family would not forgive the demons. "You have thrown any chance of a treaty out the window. Your siblings will be forever hunted thanks to you."
"No, he was strong. Everyone is weak in the face of adversity, but he held up. That's why you used your methods, petty torture. No doubt you dangled freedom in front of him like some sort of golden carrot and then sharply ripped it away, didn't you?" Whatever the case, the soul had already dissipated, the soldier would be living a human life now. "You demons, you take and you take and you take, because that's the only thing you know to do. You steal lives, you rip apart families and take any hope of happiness away." Celeste trembled, seeing the severed wing before her. "You're the one who is weak. Using petty means to get what you want like a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum." Celeste looked Kitra right in the eye then. "You are the cowardly one, Kitra."
"I asked you not to call me that, you hypocrite." Her hands balled into fists. "You've already taken enough from us." Celeste only had one wing now, her family was missing their baby, her parents were no doubt up in arms about being unable to find her. Surely the broken window was evidence that she hadn't gone peacefully. "Zepar, she wanted peace did she not? How can you throw her wishes out the window? All of that hard work, everything your siblings did, you're throwing it out the window!" Celeste wouldn't forgive her. "You've tarnished your family name, you've dishonored the names of the dead." The door opened then, Cambion returned. Celeste wrapped the cloak tighter around herself, she wasn't wearing anything underneath it, unless you counted the chains.
The front lines? So war had been ignited after all. "You will never be honored with Scorpio." Celeste whispered. "You do not know the meaning of the word honor." There were certain standards that the Zodiac Warriors had to uphold, Kitra had none of those qualities. So it was time for food then? Her stomach growled, Celeste hadn't realized just how hungry she was, having only been fed the scraps of Lilim's breakfast. Kitra took up the chains again, tugging Celeste along. The angel tripped, but before she could hit the floor, she turned into a fluffy white kitten again. With tiny kitten legs, Celeste had to practically run to keep up. The stairs were hard to tackle and the kitten mewled, showing that she was stuck. "Mew," she said, clinging onto the step, her hind legs unable to touch the ground and give her a boost.
