Pikruel nodded in understanding. She could tell that Dashade needed to be alone for a while to think about what happened.

Soon after the enemy space ships take off, the surviving Meltians come crawling out their hiding places. When they find the group of heroes standing in the battlefield, they watch cautiously. But the two Meltians that Pikruel saved earlier walked into the open. The little one, named Flame called out, "We're saved! We're saved! The Saiyans saved us!"

Hearing this, the other Meltians murmured before they came into the open as well, cheering and celebrating. They surrounded the group in a circle, and the queen of the people stepped out in front and bowed in respect, followed by all of the others. "Thank you, kind visitors. Without you, our people would never have stood a chance against the invaders. We are forever in your dept."

"Ah, don't worry about it," Pikruel replied. "It was a challenge, but it was fun and we grew a lot stronger from it. All in a day's work for a Saiyan."

"So you are Saiyans. This is the second time Saiyans have saved our planet. First Cabba and Frost saved us from war, now you've saved us from enslavement and senseless slaughter. We are twice in your debt. Please, stay a while. We'll hold a great feast in your honor. We'll offer to your females members fifty husbands each."

Pikruel grinned awkwardly, both at the thought of having fifty husbands, and of having husbands who were insects. "Oh, that's okay. Helping you is its own reward. Besides, I want to get back home."

"What about you two?" Pikruel was addressing the Namekian and bubblegum woman. "You're welcome to come back with us, if you want. You can get a reward for helping us. Maybe we could even spar together a little. By the way...what are your names? I don't want to have to keep calling you green man and bubblegum woman. I'm Pikruel, and my blue friend is Nion."
