The male sat in his room watching TV when he received a message from Samantha. He glanced down at his phone and immediately cussed himself out. Damn she is going to be mad, he thought to himself as he began typing the message to respond to Samantha.
To Sami
Oh God. Please don't be mad at me. I forgot your party was tonight. I'll definitely be there in a few minutes though.
Matthew climbed off his bed and slid his brown flip flops onto his feet before taking off to his car parked outside. It wasn't anything fancy and kind of looked as if it were falling apart, which it probably was, but it got him around and that's all that mattered to him. But once Matt makes a bit more money, he'll be able to get the parts and fix it up. His vehicle was a current work in progress, but it never seemed to bother him. The male put the key in the ignition, started it up then backed out of the driveway to head out towards Samantha's house.
It took him about ten minutes to arrive, the two of them didn't live that far from each other and thankfully the traffic wasn't too bad tonight. Especially since it was the weekend. Matt parked his vehicle in front of her home and climbed out, just in time to see that Magnolia had also arrived. "Hey girls," he greeted as he stepped up to Magnolia and the birthday girl.
Matthew fully stepped into the home and pulled a small box from his pocket and handed it over to Samantha, "Happy birthday, I hope you like it," he stated. Matthew had been saving up for the past couple months to get this gift for her. It was one of the necklaces she pointed out at one of the jewelry shops they passed by one day when they were walking around town. Sure, it was expensive, but he wanted to make sure he got her something she would like.

Currently the female was in her room getting ready for the party she was never all that interested into going to. She just hoped Darius would show up. She knew he didn't really care for some of the people she hangs around with but it would make the night go by so much faster if he showed. She hoped she would be able to talk him into staying over night with her, but most likely he was going to pass that up. Chloe wouldn't be hurt if he did because she would understand, it just wouldn't be the same without him.
Chloe was walking around a corner, heading out of her neighborhood when she received a text from Mags. If it weren't for the simple fact her father totaled her vehicle before he was shipped out to Iraq, she wouldn't have to walk but that was already done and there was nothing she could do about it except wait for her father to give the okay to get it repaired.
To Mags
Yeah, I'm coming. Just be glad I gave in. Might take a while because I didn't have enough money to get a cab ride. I'm currently walking. Should be there in about an hour.
To β₯Dariusβ₯
Are you still going to show up?
Chloe sent the messages and slid her phone into her pocket as she placed her earbuds into her ears and listened to music as she continued to walk the streets in her pajamas, heading out to Samantha's.
