Ayanna, Drek, and Ekfricai all stood stock still as Emily vanished without a trace. The Three of them looked among each other, and Ayanna gestured to Molnish, who released the magic and fell to his feet on the ground. As he did so the ascended Warriors reverted to their original forms. Ayanna stood with her sword over her shoulder looking after Emily and her two "acoyltes". Drek rubbed his shoulders and worked his neck, and Ekfricai stood with his hands on his hips. "Well... that was rather uneventful. I had thought we were about to engage in a most glorious battle." The monk said, with only the barest hint of disappointment in his tone.
At around that moment a pair of archers came sliding down the craters edge, and sprinted towards Ayanna. They spoke frantically in the language of their kind, so much so that Ayanna had to command them to stop and speak calmly. Not moments after she had finally gotten their report another pair of archers had come from another direction, and then another group from yet another direction. She received all their reports while Drek, Ekfricai, and Molnish waited patiently. After listening to them all, she shared the news with her team.
"Some sort of dark mage over towards the north, summoning creatures of shadow. Our forces are doing what they can but they're underequipped for that sort of situation. Molnish you'll have to take a team of sorcerers and deal with that. Ekfricai, significant resistance has been encountered over at Sol Avenue. The entire Battalion sent that way was decimated in an ambush, the enemy has airsupport. Some Fighters will be retasked, but for now take the warriors who have regenerated and clear that way. Drek, more forces have been detected in the sewer systems beneath the city. Start flushing it out, I want this area secured from above and below as well as on ground."
Each of the three affirmed their orders and headed out to fulfill them. Ayanna herself continued to gaze after Emily for awhile, but she was interupted by a smaller woman in an engineers outfit. A pair of heavy looking gauntlets made her hands look far larger than they were, and the woman was followed by several others similiar to her in uniform and style.
"Egryn Abr Fyrn, at your command, sir. We were sent ahead to prepare for the impact." The Womans voice was light and musical, like sounds played on a flute. "Tell us what you need and we'll get it ready.
Ayanna nodded to them. "Anti aircraft to start, then anti armor. I want to start fortifying this location as quickly as possible. But the Impact won't be happening here. This location is far to obvious and comprimised besides. The Impact coordinates have been changed to the Plaza, so as soon as you get done here you'll be getting on a Canoe and getting over there."
"In service to the Solskain" The smallish woman saluted Ayanna.
"In service to the lord" Ayanna saluted her back, sending the woman and her team on their way. Not too long after they were sent to do their task, the legion warriors in the crater began climbing out, and the Egrynar used their power to reforge the earth and undo the damage that it had taken, until the crater was no more. Once this was done, the Obelisk and Spires were moved closer together, and among them four structures began to take form, as the Egrynar created, forged, and molded the starsteel to produce Anti-Air Defenses for the location. They then set about repeating this process to create Anti-Amour defenses, designed to destroy all but the heaviest armored tanks.
As Ayanna watched this work continue, Molnish gathered together four other Sorcerers and took them North to combat the shadow beasts.
Ekfricai gathered those soldiers who had regenerated at the Obelisks, listened to quick reports from them about the enemy he would face, and proceeded to lead them back to Sol Avenue.
Drek gathered fourteen Oryan Abr Sundavar who had been deployed for this specific purpose, and took them into the sewers from local Manholes. They would then proceed to follow the route to Eastern Wing city, to pick up the Trail of the Invictus found therein.

The Echo of Peace continued to descend, coming ever closer to crashing in Wing City. As the Enemy ships entered it's airspace, the Pillars surrounding the Rook unlocked and unleashed a swarm of thousands upon thousands of drones, which would begin assaulting the enemy capital ships. Even more ships were launched from the Echo of Peace, Knights refitted for bombing runs on capital ships as well as Canoes for Troop transport and Wolf Axe fighters to take down the rest of the Invictus. The Canoes immediately began a rapid descent for the business district, to pick up and transport troops to various other areas of the city.

The four Warriors sent after Claire Wilder and her cameraman would at about that time come out upon the rooftop of the building. Upon spotting her they would immediatly begin an approach, forming in position to cut off her escape. "You shouldn't be up here, it's not safe! Now come with us!
