Risu Yamasaki
Risu yawned as she shouldered her way into the music room. Ugh, why does history have to be so boring.... She stopped when she noticed that Albert and Velonix were already in the room. She smiled and dumped her books by one of the couches strolling over to the refreshments as Vel and Al had already done.
Now, when Risu had first been shown the refreshment table, she had been in complete and utter awe. Never before had she seen such treats before. All of which had been completely foreign to her. She had decided right then and there to sample at least one new thing everyday. She stepped up beside Velonix and looked for anything that might be salty.
"Hmmm.... And what should I sample today... Any suggestions, Vel?" she greeted warmly. Risu had heard her earlier comment of Albert's sweet habits and chuckled a bit to herself. For such an imposing man, he was quite the softy. Risu would most definitely be back to the table before the afternoon was over, but for now, had settled upon a lovely looking pastry with cherry filling and cream cheese that someone had labeled a "Danish". Risu took one bite before she was whisked away to heaven.
"Ohhh.... That is so good... What have I been missing out on all this time?" As taken with the pastry as she was, Risu said similar comments with virtually everything she tried.
Risu took her goody back with her to a couch and settled herself with her legs spread out and her arm draped casually over the back. Her eyes wandered back over to the upperclassmen. At first, Risu had been quite nervous around Albert. She wasn't used to seeing people her own height let alone someone who towered over even her. But, as she got to know him, the fear ebbed into a respect. He also had a lovely singing voice. She blushed slightly at the thought and turned her attention to Velonix. She would have been lying if she said she wasn't surprised by the presence of another female. Risu had been relieved though. She wasn't sure she could have taken being the only girl despite the fact that she hid her gender.
Risu sighed and took another bite out of the delightful little pastry.
