Jo sat back down beside Tony and gave him an encouraging smile. She looked at his pizza sandwich and secretly began to plot putting ranch between the pieces. Then it would really be a sandwich. She took a sip of her water and quietly watched her two alphas. Her smile grew a bit bigger. They were arguing, but it was like having parents again.
Tony did as Tony does and tried to make things feel lighter. It always worked for Jo, but not always for the others. Jo pulled out the target paper from the booth and held it up for her pack to see. "I think this was pretty funny. I'm a lousy shot. It's a good thing I have claws or I'd probably be in trouble."
