Mordax awakens at the sound of the portal closing with a start. He looks around seeing that no one is around, he contemplates whether he should've stayed awake or not. He keeps walking past a few doors then, he opens a door on his right and walks in. After walking in he closes and locks the door securely. "I wonder if I can figure out what this device can do before they get back." He sits down at his desk and starts to fiddle with a small, thin, rectangular box.
