”RECOGNITION: Thank you, human. She was a creation of the Master Artificer similar to me or your blade. Granted, Bertha does not have higher-level thought similar to me.”

Rupert was amazed at the quick work all his potential compatriots made of the demon that had appeared. He was fascinated by the Godling female’s summoning process and the associated creature she had called forth. He had never seen such a creature, and he had consumed a fair amount of bestiary literature in searching for an organic that could be his analogue. Was it possible to summon inorganics like him? Did it require a soul? More questions for later.

The human male had been more concise in his motion. While perhaps his method was less elegant than magic he had finished his opponent the soonest. This was clearly an attribute of long years of martial training, less flourish and more execution. However, Rupert could not discount any magical capabilities. He had encountered many a spellslinger capable of brandishing a blade and vice versa. Rupert was also interested in the male’s blade. Magical in nature, it was quite obviously a work of the Master Artificer. He had encountered her different creations, being the most talented artificer in Ledirue this led to a plethora of work. He had seen her create works as mundane as safes that electrified any potential thieves to a small company of golems similar to himself, except built with more obedience and designed to put down rebellions. He wondered if the Master Artificer had built in any tricks into the blade that the human had not yet encountered or unlocked.

The human female had taken the teleportation array less well. She seemed to initially have suffered from teleportation disorientation. Still, this did not make her any less capable. She had brutalized her opponent, simply tearing off its arm and squashing its head like an overripe pumpkin. A simplistic solution to an annoyance at best. Additionally, she looked crusader in her gear and in the manner in which she carried herself. Rupert was unsure how he felt about religion. His few experiences had included being called an abomination by a cult that denounced the usage of warforged to almost being sacrificed in the name of some great dwarven forge god. He found the topic fascinating but was a little more reserved on the issue because he himself was unsure as to what would happen when he died.

Regardless, it looked like introductions were in order:

”GREETING: Companions! I am Rupert the Debitus or if you prefer Number 116. I am a construct belonging to the Master Artificer and currently contracted to the Wizard! I have been assigned to this party but as yet do not know our objective.”

”INTERJECTION: I look forward to working with all of you.”

“RESPONSE: I believe the Dullahan ran into the forest, it seems she is more effective in single combat. Perhaps a search party?”
