Ayanna only smiled at the two fighters as a pair of magic circles lit up, one directly in front of her, one a foot or more behind. The traps would have become active the moment the two fighters moved into them, catching Kinoko first as she was faster. Hana, being slower, would be caught by the one behind Ayanna. The traps would seal them both in an arcane force field that prevented them from moving much more than a centimeter in any direction.

Ayanna then stepped back and smirked at them, pulling her blade from the dirt to throw over her shoulder. "To be honest with you, I'm glad you came back. I wasn't happy with how you all took off without even letting me try my ascended form out on you, but at least this way, I get to have some fun while I wait for the impact."

Ayanna then struck her blade into the ground, another magic circle lighting up around her as she howled, though whether it was in rage or pain was unclear. Arcing energy slammed into her body as the enhancement magic took hold of her, making her faster, stronger, greater. With a thunderclap the spell was over, and Ayanna stood before Kinoko and Hana, who would have been freed from the magic trap by the shockwave the enhancement magic released.

Her skin, which had had a purplish tinge to it before, was now a deep and dark red. Sharp spines and spike protuded from various parts of her arms, shoulders, and legs. Two long curling spikes raised from her shoulder blades and curled up over her collar bone. Two pairs of horns curved out from her temples and cheekbones. Every sharp edge was tipped in a blue so dark as to be black, and her eyes shone like pale moons from her eyes. Her canine teeth had grown long and curved out of her mouth in such a way as to make it inconceivable of closing. Her fingers ended in long talons of the same dark blue that tipped the new spikes of her body.

She grasped her blade from it's mooring in the earth, and pulled it free with a crack. In that same motion she leapt forward with incredible speed to strike the pommel of her blade into Kinoko's forehead, and the palm of her hand into Hana's nose.

Regardless of her opponents reaction, she spoke to them and said "This should make things a bit more interesting for us both. Alone, this form would be more than suffecient to take one of you out. This way I can entertain you both together without anyone getting left out."
