She let out a slight huff as she dropped her bags basically at their feet. "Alright, ready to go." She announced as her parents eyed each other then looked back at her. Her lips parted to let a breath before she started to speak. "What are you guys doing? I said I was ready." She smiled towards them as her mother grabbed her arm and directed her over to the couch for her to sit, which she did. "Uhm, we're not taking you and you cannot drive yourself." Her mother said while her father just came out and said it. "You're taking the bus."
Sydney scoffed while her hand was placed onto her heart. Her mouth filled up with words to say but she just stammered through them. She had to take the bus to the campsite and she knew that she was going to fill absolutely disgusted. Before she could let out a simple word, the screeching wheels of the bus sounded just right outside her home as she turned her head to look out the window. "Can't we talk about this again?" She pleaded towards her parents as they shook their heads at her.
A few minutes later, she stood at the double doors of the bus and they opened up with a hiss. She jumped, of course as she eyed the bus driver, Mr. Harold then smiled, which was fake then got on. Of course, with her having four bags, she was bumping them into people as she walked down the aisle, not even apologizing although she knew some of those people. Sydney sat down in the back of the bus and leaned her head against the window. Camp Tolerance was honestly ruining her summer, her life and even, her social life. She just hoped that this summer goes by quickly as the bus started to move again, making their way towards the campsite.
After picking up a few more people, the bus driver closed the door on the last person and said that was everyone. Soon, he made a few turns here and there as they arrived at the campsite. Theo's eyes widened with amazement as they past the sign that read Camp Tolerance. The bus came to a halt and jolted everyone forward. "Sorry." Mr. Harold, the bus driver said as he opened the doors to let everyone off. As he stood up to get into the aisle, it seemed that he would get pushed right back down into his seat. "It's okay, guys. I'll just wait till you guys go ahead." Theodore blurted out while looking up at Sydney.
"Ugh. Don't look at me." She said as Theodore made a face before standing up and making his way off of the bus, standing with the other students. One of their counselors, Eric, showed himself, quieting everyone down. "Alright, everyone. Listen up. Welcome to Camp Tolerance as I am sure you all know why you are here. Now, there are cabins side by side, yes, side by side but it's big enough to fit two of you guys. Okay?" Eric said as he didn't wait for anyone to ask questions or respond.
"Let's go and check it out." Eric said as he waved for them to follow. Theodore followed closely by everyone as they made it to the cabins. "Now, you guys pick your own roommate but of course, since your hormones are raging, boys with boys and girls with girls. Got it? Good. The cabins have two beds, a shower, a bathroom and two dressers on each side. So, you guys go unpack and meet me in the big building over there known as the Main Building for lunch and introductions. Now, go crazy." Eric said as he trekked off, everyone else scattered to get a cabin as Theodore stood there for a moment before going towards a cabin that was empty.
He sat his bags down on the bed then slowly started to unpack. He just hoped that he didn't get a jerk or douchebag as a roommate, to be honest.
