I remembered jumping forward, my machete flying out of my hand and sliding across the floor and a figure rushing toward me and yelled my name. Tyr? He grabbed my wrist and pulled me powerfully. I think I blackout for a moment but when I came to, I was panting hard, my breathing rasped as I laid down on the ground next to Tyr. I turned my head and looked over at Tyr before I looked up at the ceiling, closing my eyes tightly. "T-Thank you." I gasped before I placed a hand on my chest, wincing at the throbbing and radiating pain that I prayed would go away. I opened my eyes and I looked at my hand and I blinked at the white tattoo that swirled up around my fingers, hand and forearm and fading at my elbow. I turned my hand so that my palm was facing me and noticed the amethyst buried in the center of my palm, horizontally. I did not know the full extent of what I was capable of with this gem in my hand and I was quite curious to find out.

I placed my hand back onto my chest and with my other hand, I struggle to sit myself up, wincing and whimpering softly in pain as I did before I finally sat up. My hand clutched at my chest and I looked down at my chest to see the bruising had gotten worst, turning my whole chest black and purple. I looked away from my chest and ahead towards the room that I possibly could not have escaped from if it wasn't for Tyr's help. I glanced at my machete that was lying on the ground not too far from me and I exhaled deeply which caused me to wince in pain once again. I looked over at Tyr and I gave him a slight nod. "Let us go. There is nothing left for us here." I struggle to stand but my chest spasm on me and I fell to my knees, clutching my chest. Damn it...
