Sure enough, Joel was sitting in front of her desk, flipping through a book she had lying on it. Daneries didn't even bother saying anything, just went up, ripped the book from Joel, and threw it down on the desk before getting in his face. "Don't ever talk to my family like their slaves, got it? Ryker isn't some person you can boss around because you think you're all that..." Fear flashed across Joel's face as he tried to push the seat away from Dani, only for her to grab it and keep it rooted in its spot. Swallowing hard, Joel nodded to Dani's wishes, uncomfortably shifting in his chair. Daneries instantly let the chair go, glaring at him as she walked around her desk and sat down heavily at her chair. "Now what do you want?" She asked.
The Priest sat up , fixing the shirt he wrinkled while trying to slide down the chair. "How come I had to hear from Osiris that one of your people were kill? Why didn't you come and tell me?" The annoyance was clear on Joel's face again, glaring at her. Daneries raised an eyebrow, her jaw clenching. "Seriously, you came all the way here to complain that you weren't kept in the loop?" Joel didn't respond, just kept his expectant look on his face. "We didn't tell you, because it was none of your business. It was a private funeral, and the only reason we told Osiris is because I had refused to come out of my room for multiple days, one of which he tried to come and see me..." Joel didn't wipe off the annoyed look he had, eyeing Daneries up and down.
Dani noticed, leaning forward in her seat, making sure to look big and menacing. "Is there anything else, Joel?" The priest stood up, crossing his arms. Daneries did the same, watching him closely. "I don't know what Osiris sees in you," Dani heard Joel mumble under his breath. More anger poured through the Targarians blood stream. Her first instinct was to scream at him and punch his face in, but she kept her composure, clenching her jaw as she walked around her desk, grabbing Joel's arm and practically dragging him through the house, to the front door. She literally threw him out, yelling, "Next time you have some stupid, time wasting shit to talk about you can go suck a-" Dani stopped when she felt something being driven between her ribs. Her eyes went wide as her hand tightened around the door frame, looking to Joel who was now in front of her, holding what seemed to be a dagger, the blade deep in the side of her chest. Blood sputtered from her lip as the Priest slowly backed up, flinching when the salty spray hit him in the face. The only reason he didn't stay to watch Dani slowly slide down the door frame was because the guards there were posted around the house had noticed him. He gave a last glare to Dani, who was still staring in shock, halfway down the door frame. With that the Priest rushed off, only to slam into the chest of a guard, who quickly grabbed him. More men came over, quickly picking Dani up, their yells thousands of miles away as Dani just stared at the hilt of the knife in her side.
