Bel was done working the crowd though, and had caught sight of some one unexpected. Working his way through the crowd, the finely dressed man, dressed in what passed for women's fashion in this court, as usual, he came closer to the woman, one fo the few here enjoying the alcohol, rather than one of the scantily clad walking meals.

He offered Catherine a pleasant closed mouth smile as he drew near. "It has been some time since you came to court, ambassador. Have you grown weary of communicating by messenger?" That had been their primary way of communication for some time. Bel's voice was gentle and almost feminine in nature. Her smiled to her, amused. It had been a very long time since he had seen this court member in person. There had been no issue with this of course. It allowed them to keep his sweet son in isolation a little easier, and kept her from even getting a whisper of the boy's location.
