- Checkthe clock Roxanne, because time is of the essence. Silently taking the blade and slicing at Luca's hand, then wiping down the blade and slicing at Emery as he did... that weird, Emery thing.
She just had to ignore her own lady boner from the sudden increase in blood. Delicious, ruby-colored and flowing... blood... Focus, Roxy! She gently made sure to continue bleeding into the cup, reluctantly looking at Vincent and her bag. "I have to keep bleeding in order to make up for the other members we don't have, give me a few more seconds." Opening and closing her hand, she watched as her hand began to drip in a more rapid motion. Man, this cut was going to suck to clean for awhile.
Keeping her hand hovering as she watched the pool in the cup get larger, she dug out the needed medical supplies and set them by her beloved peasants. Typically, she wasn't the one who was losing a lot of blood - something she might regret later. But that was neither here nor there. Once done, she put down the 'ritual blade' away from the circle, taking a deep, deep breathe.
It was time to work with the chanting. She'd bandage her own hand after this was said and done, no doubt. Time was ticking, and she wasn't about to actually waste any on something that wasn't life threatening yet.
"I'm going to start the incantation, I expect everyone to focus on simply summoning the demon, okay?" Roxanne breezed through, taking a hold of the incense holder from Luca. While the ritual began something normal, the more focused she got in it, the farther down the rabbit hole she seemed to go. In fact, she had gotten so into it, she had begun to speak in tongues.
It began simply - intense wind blowing, the faint glow of the circle - before strange things even began to occur to the technology. The devils number began to blink on the digital clocks, windows rattling. Whatever this girl was doing, it was working, the blood traveling out of the cup and around the outline of the pentagram. Out from a sudden black cloud emerging, came a wisp-like creature that slowly began to solidify, red-like embers emerging from segments of it's head. A twisted grin formed on it's face - but when it's mouth opened? A distorted, demonic scream and grunt escaped it.
Looks like it couldn't speak to them in any manner they could understand, but the weather and clocks returned to normal as it's red eyes stared at the group. Truth be told? Roxy was pretty close to pissing herself in shook and wooziness.
Oh... Oh dear God. It... worked?! Fuck! Fuck, fuck fuck, fuck! Frick fracking fuck! She was a vampire queen goddamn it, not a demon summoner! Anxiety and shock aside, the creature itself seemed like it was slowly starting to test it's own ability to turn transparent, it's hand appearing one moment, disappearing the next.
Invisibility? Apparently, it meant business.
