"Well I think they're pretty far right now, I'll go check"
Lucas carefully went to the mouth of the cave and poked his head out, no raptors to be seen anymore. He turned back to face the archeopteryx.
"Looks like the coast is--augh!" Lucas began to say as he was tackled to the ground by a dilophosaurus. The two fought and clawed at eachother. Lucas snapped at it's neck and blood spilled. He got up and hissed as the dilophosaurus coughed up blood and gasped for breath. Lucas jumped on top of it, pushing it onto the ground, and he ripped at it's neck, killing it. He got off of the corpse and dragged it inside.
"Damnit" he said, feeling the pain from the scars on him, "Here you hungry?" Lucas said as he lied down, "Alright, we should probably stay in here for a while. I've been thinking about leaving this forest, it's just not safe as you can see, you can't trust anybody. But I don't know where we should go"
