Until Cas's comment about the fire.
Her beer bottle shattered as it hit the ground at her feet. She was on her feet, not fully having realised that she'd stood up. He fucking knew what he'd said. It had been a deliberate comment and he knew how to get to her. The rational part of her mind was silent, lost in the fury of what he'd said.
"Whatever happened to the whole 'do onto your neighbour as you would have done to you' thing?" She asked, her voice laden with poison. She'd done it once before and she'd do it again. She had her limit and he'd fucking smashed it. He probably should have been glad she'd broken her bottle. "The whole 'good christian' thing? You'd think that a youth pastor would practice what he preaches, wouldn't you?" She said, looking around at everyone else. It was on the tip of her tongue. She was going to say it. But she'd give him a little warning. "That is, unless you've been lying to everyone all the time. So, Cas, I'll give you one chance to spill the beans yourself. And don't think I'll chicken out- I didn't last time, did I?" She asked, folding her arms. All of the anger that had been building up in her had decided to emerge and direct itself at Cas. All of the anger over Lisa, who was a much better person than Ellie was. All of the confusion over Lina and Gemma and frustration over her inability to help Sage. And all of the anger, residual and present, over the fire. All at Cas. She bent down and picked up another beer, raising an eyebrow at Cas as she cracked it open.
