Jay didn't waste much time as the day itself got closer to the time for him to leave. He debated how to get up there and decided he would take the bus up there to the party. He gathered his phone and wallet and took off towards the bus stop. A part of him was excited about the prospect of hanging out with some people from school and it being his first Dalton party. He boarded the bus and off he went.
He finally got to the party around 10:15 as he had gotten lost as he rarely comes up this side of town. He took a minute to admire the sheer size of the house and saw that a lot of people were already in there enjoying themselves. Confidence was never his issue as he put his charming smile on and moved through the entryway. He nodded and said hello to anyone who looked his way. He never expected to turn heads but he was known as good guy. He smiled his way past the dancing and conversations as he made his way to alcohol. Surprisingly he had a very high tolerance for alcohol as he found out one night with a distraught girl. He took her out in a field to get over a lose of a family member and drank with her. He drank more then she did and he ended up walking her home as she was trashed.
He ordered a rum and coke and waited patiently as he enjoyed seeing all these people ignoring the normal staus quo of money and just having fun. Once his drink was made he of course sipped it and was mixed well. He smiled at the bartender and took his drink off to mingle smiling and greeting both people he knew and those he did not.
