Yui was trying to make sense of Mizuki's decision. "Mizu, I don't want to try and convince you of anything, but I would like for you to live," there, that was her opinion, she wasn't going to push it. Yui was willing to give the necessary blood so that Mizuki could get the ghost heart, she didn't mind being a donor. Yui had even told Mizuki before that if she did die, she wanted Mizuki to have her heart. The two were a match in just about everything, being compatible for either one to receive a vital organ from the other. Therefore, Yui didn't understand why Mizuki wouldn't accept her blood and use it so that she didn't have to be wheelchair bound and connected to this clunky machine like a robot in constant need of charging. "I really don't mind, it doesn't hurt," Yui shook her head. Sure, she hated needles, but if it was for Mizuki then Yui would bravely face whatever challenges the world tried to throw at them.

"You should move in, we can have lots of fun again!" Yui missed the three of them, dressing up, having tea parties, coloring on the walls. Wait, coloring on the walls? When had Yui done that? She blinked, slightly confused before the memory faded. Ally placed a hand on Yui's shoulder. "We would love to have you over, there's plenty of space for you to move in." That was, if Mizuki could be moved from the hospital. Yui tugged at the inhibitor self consciously. "It's not that bad, it's just like wearing a heavy bracelet," only it stuck out like a sore thumb if she ever wanted to go somewhere. "It's a lot better than being in jail," that was for sure. They would have thrown Yui into the same high security prison as Haruka. Yui would have wasted away the rest of her life beyond bars, possibly happy that she wouldn't be able to hurt anyone ever again, but sad because of the isolation.

When Ally and Yui returned home, Yui went straight to take a bath. She dipped into the water, sinking into its warm embrace when something stung her. Yui looked down, her eyes widening. The surface of the tub was on fire. She screamed, thrashing around, trying to get out of the water but the fire spread, burning her skin and her hair, setting her ear feathers alight. Ally burst into the bathroom, her eyes wide with panic. "Yui, Yui, what's wrong?" Ally grabbed Yui out of the water, trying to see what had happened. She wrapped the girl in a towel and took her to the other room. "What's wrong? What happened?" Yui shook her head, not speaking. It took a while to convince her that everything was okay, that nothing was on fire, that she was fine. "It could just be residue from the seeds, I can try to get another filter?" Yui shook her head, she didn't like the filters. "It's better to be clean of it then to suffer delusions, isn't it?"

Yui spent the next two days connected to one, by the time Mizuki arrived it was finally over. "Welcome home," Yui smiled upon greeting her. "I'm so glad you could move in with us," Ally and Yui had baked a cake the day before. Er really, Ally had made it and Yui had watched because she hadn't been able to do much while attached to a filter. Mizuki proposed an interesting question, one about healing. "I think with time," Yui said quietly, "we can all move on and begin to heal," for now the incident was still fresh in their minds, or at least Yui's. It had only been a week since she had gotten her mind back and she was suffering greatly from self-doubt, confusion, and fear.
