Turning away from the counter Chou focused his attention to the many bottles and snacks that decorated the wall behind the bar to their side. ”Don’t worry you’ll get the hang of it,” he assured her, before going on to explain the different brands and flavours that hung on the wall. There was plenty to choose from but a lot to remember, Chou almost laughed when remembering his first time serving behind the bar. ”This should help you,” the boy gestured towards a laminated sheet with information covering it. Picking the sheet up and running his finger down each one he continued, ”It’s got every drink listed along with its price and so on.” A handy thing. Lillian had it made especially for all new staff members, since the woman got fed up of having to teach them every little thing over and over again.
”Fire extinguisher and emergency stuff is kept behind the bar in-case you need it,” he continued a moment after and pointed as he went, making sure Eris knew where to find certain equipment that might be need, ”Lily’s number is always found by the till, first aid things are in the cupboard down there, yadda yadda,” Chou yo-yoed up and down the bar’s length offering little bursts of information concerning this and that, basically what he thought the girl should know. ”Some customers can get a bit snippy so pay them no mind,” he said to Eris, ”it’s mostly easy-going during the day so I don’t think we’ll have many problems...”
”It’s the nights you gotta watch out for.” There was a reason why Lillian and Molyneux tended to the late evenings out of all the staff. They were probably the most qualified to handled them really. ”Oh yeah, you still thinkin’ over what colour to dye your hair next?” He asked, just remembering their last conversation. Just then another customer entered at that moment and made their way to the bar. ”Want me to handle this or you think you can manage it?”
