The boy carefully watched and refrained from intervening as Eris went about serving the customer, already seeming capable enough of handling it on her own. ”Not bad,” he offered compliment, ”better than how I managed on my first go.” The boy sniggered with the confession. Which was probably why Chou was kept out back most the time, until eventually needed to man the bar. He wasn't the greatest but the lad could keep the punters at bay. ”Well that does sound pretty crazy,” he amusingly grinned at her choice of hair colour, before having a good think. Out of everyone, he was typically the best bet for information regarding the area. ”There’s a place not too far that deals with hair that I’ve heard is good,” Chou offered while leaning against the bar and crossing both arms. Generally the area had plenty to offer for just about anything, not to mention the vast city just hanging nearby. ”Lily’s also handy at it. She’s always messing around with potions and products.” He remarked, trying to remember what exactly it was that the witch did with such things. ”She can also give advice on how to look more human. She’s known to help the local supernaturals with that.”
Not long after footsteps were heard coming down the stairs from the back, and soon after Molyneux appeared and casually took a seat up at the bar across from the pair. Although giving a quick glance over his shoulder first and looking about, he then turned and remarked, ”What? Nothing broke or damaged yet?” It almost sounded as if he had expected such and was nearly disappointed at seeing everything still perfectly intact. ”And we still have customers too?”
”Aw. Don’t be so nitpicky boss,” Chou chimed in, smiling at the older man. ”It’s all good!”
Molyneux continued to give an unsettled look to the boy, and a more doubtful stare at the girl. However saying no more about it he leaned back in his seat, hooking one leg over the other while lighting up a cigarette. ”It’s been a few hours so I figured I’d drop in anyway,” he spoke, puffing out a smoky breath. It always felt so nice having a good smoke at this time of the day, especially when knowing he’d need it before attending the meeting that he’d undoubtedly force himself to go to. ”Lillian should be arriving soon to take over from you two. Although... you sure you really want to go to this meeting?” He asked Eris, particularly.
