His phone buzzed in his pocket, Ben pulled it out to see a text from Yay on the screen. He read the first half of the sentence and stuck his phone back in his pocket. He had to respect that she was friends with Archie but he didn’t have to like it. Without responding, Ben smiled back up at Abby, “Let’s go ride that coaster,” He walked towards her, placing his hand on the small of her back as he gently and playfully pushed her in the direction of the ride she chose.
Intentions were all sort of a blur at the moment. Not that Ben was unclear about his intentions with Ayala, but more so the fact of there having been a large lack of communication in who wanted who and what. Ben had two beautiful women that both wanted some sort of relationship with him, and he had no idea how to manage either. Truth be told, if Ben weren't so crazed and frantic about Ayala talking to other men, none of this would be happening in the first place. Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to control himself and almost lost the best thing that ever happened to him. Ayala's intentions were unclear to Ben, did she want him sticking around to be sure that no one else could have him? Or was she waiting to know for sure that she really loved him and could trust him before she returned back to him? Obviously he knew that his former girlfriend wouldn't play these mind games because she's not a fucking child, but the paranoia fed into Ben's insecurities and he couldn't help but think it was a ploy to get back at him for being immature and non-trusting. And then there was Abigail. What could she possibly want with Ben now that she didn't want before? Is it a classic case of 'you want what you can't have?' His mind and heart was being pulled in all sorts of directions but Ben uncertainty in his women and his insecurities had him playing the field with both. He had no idea if he was going to get burnt, but he certainly wasn't going to live life being afraid of the fire.
