"You know, you and I aren't so different, 'cept for the boobs and the tail thing." They had been sitting there in silence up until this point, which had suited her just fine. "You mean the trained to kill thing don't you?" Of course, Reyna long ago had learned how to preserve her memories so that no one could ever take them from her again. "I mean the losing everything thing." Wolfe sniffled, Reyna figured the alcohol was making his nose run. "They took everything from us, you your whatever, my Kira." His words were slightly slurred, it was clear that he was very drunk. The door opened, someone else had walked in. "Found them!" Luis called in that annoying British accent. Reyna felt someones arms wrap around her in a tight embrace. "Reyna, thank goodness! We thought you might have fallen off the ship!" Reyna shook her head and stood.
"I was just walking around," Reyna replied, allowing Hazuki to guide her out. Shannon was waiting, she took Reyna's other hand, the two of them guiding Reyna to where she was to sleep. A room all to herself, with the bathrooms down the hall and a closet she had mistaken for the door out on her first night here. There were no other clothes, Reyna slept naked and and wore the same shorts and sweatshirt everyday. On their third day at sea, a storm hit the ship. Things rocked so much that Reyna was disoriented and couldn't find her way around. She tripped on the staircase, ending up on the wrong side of the ship. Asther was coming down from the Captain's room, the boat's engine off because they couldn't fight against the storm.
"Oh, Reyna, the breakfast room is the other way." Reyna allowed Asther to guide her out and towards the dining room, where the others had already started. Reyna received a helping of eggs and started eating, able to sometimes find the food on her own and other times, simply spilled it all over herself while trying to eat. Today was one of those days, especially with the rocking of the ship. Most of her food ended up on her lap and Shannon had to clean Reyna off at the end like some helpless infant. "Thanks for your help and thank you for the food," there were rooms to sit in and pretend she had something to do after all. "Reyna, do you want to help us?" Shannon asked, "we're gonna try to find Dory's shell." Reyna frowned, "I won't be of much use then."
Reyna stood, "I'll just go back to my room." She stood and left the room, heading towards where the door should have been. Instead, Reyna walked right into a wall. "Ouch!" Her nose bled as she fell onto the ground, sprawling on her back. Blood dripped down her cheek, it was most definitely bleeding.
