▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Before Molyneux could even utter another word the girl had already bounced off out the door, seemingly thrilled to be invited along on his patrol. Honestly he hadn’t seen anyone as eager before however this was a first as certainly not many, if anyone rarely got asked to come along in the first place. Molyneux could only wonder if he had just made a great mistake or not in asking Eris to join him? Well. Trying not to overly thinking about it for now he gathered up a few things from about the room as he moved, though mostly small items that fitted nicely into the confined depths of his pockets. He did, after all, travel lightly.

When all was done the man left the comfort of his office and made ways downstairs, albeit just a touch more slowly, if only to annoyingly drag out the girls impatientness when spotting Eris waiting for him by the door. Again, she was so eager to go. Molyneux hadn’t the foggiest why though, had she been so deprived of something in her life that hanging around him was actually deemed exciting? Who knows. ”Got everything?” He asked with a sigh to the girl when approaching, despite partly knowing the answer already.

He couldn’t quite shake off the feeling that he was still dealing with a child, more so considering what he was about to say next. ”If you’re really set on coming along then you’ll have to do as I say, got it?” Molyneux asked, or rather told the girl clearly. His seemingly dull expression unfaltering. ”And don’t wander off, or talk to weirdos, or touch anything you shouldn’t,” he further insisted and shoved both hands into his coat pockets, ”and just think before you do anything.”

With that small debriefing done the half-demon was quick to venture out the door at once, knowing that the bar was in the capable hands of the manager during his absence. Waiting outside for Eris, once the girl caught up he immediately made his way down the walkway, thankful that it was late and that very few were still out and about at this hour. ”We’re going to visit a woman,” he informed Eris at his side, figuring it best to let the horn-girl know, ”her child’s gone amiss, something like that. The Council don't want some uncontrollable young demon running loose in a city with humans, which is why visiting the mother is our first lead.”
