Normally, Taven was careful with what she stole. Not going for things that would be noticeable if she took them, and never during daylight. At least, that's how she used to be. As time passed, Taven grew a need to steal larger things. She went from simple phones and money out of purses, to cars, and holding up stores. This, however, was still not enough. You see once somebody starts getting everything they want, they become spoiled and want more. Nothing is ever enough. Getting too cocky while doing things also screws you over...big time.
So, what does somebody who wants bigger game do? They rob a bank. Taven had it all planned out. The bank was picked, the security had been monitored and tracked, the response time for the cops was noted. Everything down to how many mice hid in the walls. Here's where most think that she messed something up during the heist. No, never that. Her plans were always flawless. Where she messed up was trusting somebody with a big mouth, and doing them wrong. Xavier Walt, her best friend was in it for the same thing she was, money and recognition. If only she didn't try to cut him from the deal the day before, maybe then he wouldn't have ratted her out and she'd still be on the outside.

Background
Taven grew up in a small neighborhood within Roanoke. Her family was pretty poor and found themselves struggling monthly to pay bills and get food on the table. Her relationship with her mom and dad was tighter than a sailors knot, she trusted them with everything. Even with all her stash spots and what places or people she had stolen from. Taven did all that for them of course, so they wouldn't have to struggle every month. They appreciated her efforts immensely, and always made sure that she knew how much they loved her. Taven made a mistake of crossing the wrong people, and in turn, it cost her them. They were shot and killed in a drive-by shooting four months prior to her arrest. At least they didn't have to see her get dragged away in a cop car.
Most would say that's what caused her downhill spiral to want to do something as big as robbing a bank, but those who knew her would never say that. Taven always wanted the bigger thing, she wanted to be known and recognized whens he walked down the street. She was always craving everybody else's approval, for why? Nobody knows. Taven got what she wanted, everybody knew who she was when she made the front paper the day after getting arrested.

Personality
Kind- Taven has always been kind. She believed in karma very heavily so she never wanted to be rude or mean to anyone. She believed it would come back to bite her in the ass, and she couldn't afford that with the line of work she was involved in. No matter the situation, she always had the best attitude towards whoever or whatever. That's probably why she never had problems with anyone growing up, everybody always liked her. Some others just thought she was too nice and strayed away, which she didn't mind.
Paranoid- Dealing with the kind of work Taven did, you develop paranoia. Mix that in with drugs and it intensifies. Taven was constantly thinking she was going to get caught stealing things, she had a lot of close calls before, but never did she get caught. This caused her to be a very jittery person, never staying still, always checking behind her, going over steps once, twice, sometimes ten times in a row before she was satisfied and sure nothing was going to happen.
