"Youβre honestly the only other human Iβve ever been this close with aside from my mom."
"Me too," Vitane agreed. She smiled weakly at Lola. She really felt like she could trust this woman. Even with her life. And that was a comforting feeling Vitane hadn't felt since before she knew the darkness in her ex's heart.
Vitane grimaced at the idea of seeing Jason any time soon, but she accepted Lola's pep talk and headed with her to Vitane's room. She struggled with not getting giddy hearing about her and Forrest. She had been waiting to hear details and if it hadn't been for Jason's style and bad boy attitude, she would have fallen for Forrest first. Just the way he walked drew her in. They both did, and Lola was right. These guys were doing something to make them like them. Vitane nodded her head and agreed with Lola again. She, too, experienced out of whack emotions when next to Jason. Thoughts and feelings she'd never experienced and it exhilarated her. But as Lola pointed, it should scare her too.
She went to the closet and picked out an outfit then spun for Lola, finishing her footwork to view herself in the mirror. It was much easier to love herself with pretty clothes on. She smoothed the dress and sighed at the amount of space there was between her skin touching the fabric. And this was an extra small. She looked sadly over at Lola, almost a help me look, but she was so far in this hole, there was no way she was getting out. She could always use an extra inch off her waist. No!!! She told herself angrily . That's just the stupid voices! You know they're liars, Vitane. Get a grip!
"Ready for breakfast?" She asked listlessly. She stood in the doorway, turned away from Lola so that she couldn't see the tear twinkling as it fell down her pallor cheek.

He began cutting off bites of egg and eating them, followed by a piece of bacon.
He looked up at Jason when he mentioned Lola. His brows somewhat lowered at his tone when he mentioned Vitane.
"Something happen between you two?" He asked earnestly. He may have blown Jason off at his first comment, but he cared about Jason nonetheless. He could tell something was wrong, but not exactly what.
He was nearly done with his breakfast when the girls came in. Without thinking, he stood abruptly to show respect, but he had done it so quickly his huge mass had pushed the table back a few inches. He blushed and averted his eyes from the women until they say down and he awkwardly took his seat.
"I didn't have anything in particular planned. How about a girl's day? You two go shopping with Nathan or maybe go to the sauna. It's a floor under us." He was hoping to maybe have a moment alone with his brother so they could really talk and he figured the ladies would want a moment alone for once too.
