Both Aria and Prisca were familiar with Eliza King, though in different ways. Prisca approached first, representing the part of Eliza's life after having been abducted by the American Government and turned into a light bearer to fight against her homeland and her loved ones. "X14." Prisca murmured, referring to her serial number, which was how the light bearers under America were named. "It's X1, my real name is Prisca, though my Caster calls me Rose."' She was speaking as Rose here, as the warrior, not the timid little shy mouse. Understanding dawned on the girl and she nodded, holding out a hand. They both had gone through similar things, and they both survived only to die in the Calamity. "I'm Eliza, Prisca." They shared a destiny, even though they hadn't been friends back then, now they had the chance to be.
Aria spoke in Japanese, eyes full of hope that maybe there was someone else that knew her language. Eliza seemed to recognize it as Japanese but anything more than that was impossible. She shook her head, apologetic. "...I - I thought I knew Japanese..." She definitely knew who it was though. "Aria, you're here somehow." The wind mage looked disappointed but not surprised. "Sister.... changed language." She managed to say, because now everyone only knew one language for the whole of humanity. "When you gone, Xavier always regret." Aria felt the need to speak on her old best friend's behalf, holding Eliza by the hands. "...When found you... and you kill him... Xavier died happy, see you again." During a battle over the skies of Austria, Eliza and Xavier found each other... and she was so broken by the reprogramming that she killed him and only realized two days later what she had done.
With that Eliza broke down into tears, the brutal memories of how she killed the last of her family sparking in her mind. In a way the two of them, Eliza and Prisca were children of Yui, it would be good for them to get to see her again, one day. "Sam, can we go back to Yavin?" Since they still had three days left before having to report back at the Military Academy, they certainly had time. It wasn't like anyone was going to question where they went or anything. "I think we should drop Aria off there, and let Eliza meet the Rebellion so she'll know what's going on." The way she was right now, newly brought into a strange, nigh impossible world, well, suffice to say, it wouldn't be bad to give her a break and ease her to the situation slowly.
Aria and Eliza were kind of peripheral friends, but for someone that was so close to her brother back when he was alive it was very much a comfort to have her here, even if it was somehow impossible. Aria went to hug Eliza, who was once a classmate of her sick younger sister whose name was erased - even if Eliza didn't remember her, it didn't mean her kindness was gone. "We should take them to Yavin." Prisca offered in a low whisper to the sound of the gentle tides around them.
