The fact that a second before, it had clicked in her head that Onika was referring to Kylie and Christopher's relationship, made her feel like Kylie needed alcohol in her even less. Really, though, that was the last thing that she was thinking about. When Nicki referenced Chris "doing a person", Kendall automatically knew it was her sister. She knew now, that Nicki knew too about the physical relationship between Kylie and Christopher, and it made her feel sick to her stomach. She knew that Nicki didn't know that she knew about it, or at least that there was no way that Nicki knew for certain that she knew, but either way, she still felt her stomach drop when Nicki said that. Nicki wouldn't know that she knew, which meant that she couldn't be painted as a horrible friend, but that didn't mean that Kendall was emotionally out of the woods. No, now she had to deal with the fact that her best friend knew that her sister was sleeping with the guy she loved. She had to deal with not knowing whether she should tell Kylie that, or even tell Kylie to back off of Chris entirely, and risk being painted as a horrible sister who put friends over family. She risked losing her sister's trust... when she was just beginning to feel like her relationship with Kylie was improving and her younger sister was becoming open with her again. It was a no-win situation, and Kendall had to remind herself that Grace was the only one out of the three who didn't know Nicki was talking about Kylie, and keep her mouth shut when she automatically felt inclined to snap back at Grace for the "ugly slut" comment. She couldn't blame Grace for that, and she didn't want Grace to know it was Kylie, but she also wanted to tell Nicki that she knew it was Kylie in private, too. That was why she nodded, albeit clearly with some distress, when Nicki asked if they could talk about this some other time. She needed time to figure out how she wanted to deal with this on her end, too, and as she could feel her chest tightening with the stress of it all, her first instinct was to want to confide in Brody about it all. Let him be the big brother. Let him handle it.
