Bard smiled a small bit when she smiled, not caring if it was slightly forced, she probably wasn't the social type. She then shook his hand and introduced herself as Rin. "Whew, least I didn't totally botch it up. However, she doesn't seem to want to be friends yet." he thought as Rin suddenly excused herself from the conversation and left.
"Okay, nice meeting you! I guess I'll see you later? Maybe?" He supposed he couldn't hear her but it didn't matter, because then he was interrupted from his train of thought by Keiji. "Oh! Hello there, Keiji, I mean, Hi Mr. Okaro, ahem."
The S Class Wizard gave him a slightly encouraging message about showing him what he could do on future Jobs as he nodded vigorously. "Y-Yes sir! I won't disappoint!" he replied to the departing Keiji. Sighing he retreated into his own mental state of mind as he simply walked towards the park in the compound, more specifically towards the fountain, where he'll sit for a while and contemplate on the announcement.
"It was nice that I broke the ice with Miss Hitomi, or Rin... however she wants to be called next time I see her. Hopefully she'll ease up and be a little social. Those eyes though, they make me think of rubies." He thought before shaking his head. "Wait a minute, wasn't I going to visit my family at the Restaurant? Oh well, I'll call Uncle Cain and Little Sis later. They'll be thrilled to know I'm on a team that's for sure. Here's hoping I don't mess up."
Reaching his destination he sat down on near the fountain and pulled out his book and began writing in it again, continuing where he left off. He'd find his journal and update it later on how this day marks the beginning of something fantastic.
