Smudgie was busily digging at a shiny gem half-buried under the remains of some big woody plant. Long dead now but rotted and burnt from ash freed a gem buried inside. Smudgie tore out bits of broken wood but couldn't get the gem free. Need stronger Laborer!

Smudgie turned to Vipteri, "I foUND A SHINY GEM!"

He then called across the gardens,"JAUNT! Smudgie needs stronG LABORer to TEAR out plaNT STUMP!"

A very large spider-looking Royal Soldier crawled overtop an intervening soaking wet hedge. He bore a massive emplacement bolter on his back given the large reciprocating barrels sticking out. The blade arms flexed as did the two rows of sharp teeth along their outer curve.

"What? What am I even ripping out? Use Quietus!", Said Jaunt's much deeper and businesslike voice at a distance. He was a mercenary after all and the Royal Soldier caste was trained for english niceties.

Smudgie's reply saw Jaunt eye Vipteri closely, "I got falSE MATRIARCH Vipteri approVED BY THe High Matriarch! We are PERMITTED TO SERVE! SHE Does not speak QUIETUS!"

Jaunt's deep speaker tone was an even bemusement, "And none of you ever speak quietly, Smudgie. I assume you intel haven't the focus to inform them what that means."

The large legs tac loudly as Jaunt pivoted to look at her directly, "A pleasure to meet you, False Matriarch Vipteri. We are very obedient to the Matriarchy, False Matriarch, so let us say to avoid asking us that you require 'service' unless you fully understand our natures."
