He nods kindly, turning away out of respect as she changed. Had being in a cell for so long changed her THAT much? After she finishes, he turns around, in each of his hands are small cups, filled with a light, honey colored liquid.
"It's tea, one of my favorite things to drink while I study."
He sets one down gently on the table in front of her.
"Also, you may notice a few things, one of them being that things will materialize fright in front of you, sometimes right where you're walking. Don't mind if it happens, I'm still trying to get the hang of using this thing called: "Technology". That friend I mentioned before, is a scientist. We work on projects together. That's all I can say for now. I know it seems a little... Uncanny for a magic user such as myself to work with the complete opposite well.. Desperate times call for desperate measures."
He bows as she mentions her name.
"Nice to meet you, Miss Silvana. My name is Free. I hail from the Region of Kronos, from another Planet actually. I've come in search of something that was stolen from me. I was born in a very privileged family, and the long and short end of this is that there were some that did not like it, so they kidnapped me when I was but a child and experimented on me, thus manifesting the powers you saw me use before. I am only 18, but I've been through and seen a lot for someone my age. I have traveled the cosmos, to other planets far from this one and close."
He gestures to the many books next.
"Feel free to find something that catches your eye while I prepare myself. I need to travel to a nearby city for some resources to help me in a project I'm currently working on. If you wouldn't mind, once you rest up, would you mind coming with me?"
When he had turned around, she involuntarily flinched back a bit, controlling herself at the last second. She took the tea after a moment and sighed a bit, the warmness of it soaking into her arms and hands quite easily and quickly. It had been a while since she had had anything to drink that was warm.
Amaris, still being cautious of 'Free' waited until he sipped his tea first before taking a small sip herself, sighing contentedly when she had. Looking over at him, she wanted to raise an eyebrow when he introduced himself, but nodded in response/acknowledgment.
She smiled and kept smiling, nodding as he spoke to her. Her clothes were loose and flowed around her like there was a small breeze constantly surrounding her body. It was strange to her to see the robots, but she kept nodding anyways.
"It's quite alright if something seems off, I'll be sure to ignore it if I deem it not necessary of a response." Her eyes sparkled now at full force, flecks of silver floating in those orbs that seemed so deep one could drown themselves in it if they chose.
When he asked for her to go with him, however, she stopped.
"That's something that I find curious. Why do you even need my help? With managing your magic or something? To get back something that you had stolen that's physical doesn't require my help." She was still clearly very cautious of him and it was clear, but she was still curious by nature, as any being is. "Or is it something darker?" Her entire demeanor changed as her face got more serious, those sparkles swirling in her eyes now, going fast.
