Rick watched his path, meaning he was looking down. That meant he wasn’t paying attention further ahead of him when a young woman ran right into him. “Guh!” Rick’s eyes widened when he saw the flash of a blade thunking into the ground. He adjusted the grip on the boar to one hand as his other shot up to the sword on his back, out of instinct. However, he saw that she seemed as startled as he was.
“Hello,” Rick smirked in a friendly fashion as he slowly loosened his grip on his longsword. “Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention.” When the woman asked a question about where he was from, Rick replied, “Pirate City…?” Rick’s brow furrowed as he glanced up in thought. He tried to recall if he had ever heard of such a place. “No, I’m from Wing City. Name’s Rick.” He extended his free hand in a welcoming gesture. "You from around here?"
