An early bird, Payton was up and awake by 5 even on a Saturday. The first thing she did every morning was go out for her daily run. Many people in the town went out for a daily jog, but not many of them went out as early as she did. Payton was a pretty social person, but she preferred to run alone. It was her only moment of real relaxation and for that short time she felt completely free.
By the time she came back to her apartment, people were beginning to go out and about. Her apartment sat right above her shop, Wright’s Electric Supplies and Accessories. She had bought the place as soon as she graduated and was still paying it off. Thankfully she didn’t have any student loans to pay off along with it. Payton made pretty good money though as she owned the only electrical supplies shop in Bellingstone. She had hired another electrician, a centaur named Brian, and two other workers to help man the shop when she wasn’t working. Of course, Payton was still the main electrician, but on busy days she needed someone to help with calls around town.
Payton got dressed in a pair of overalls with a red tank top underneath and wore a pair of red converse to match. She let her hair down from her ponytail like she normally did and went outside to water the garden that sat in front of her shop. The shop was always closed on the weekends, unless the town’s power went off or something, so unless Axel called a pack meeting, her day was free.
When she finished watering the plants she decided that she would head over to the diner and get something to eat. She grabbed her bike and rode off into town. Payton was almost at the diner when she saw the auto body shop. She had been wanting some spare car parts to mess around with for her latest project and hadn’t thought of seeing if there were any extra parts she could buy from this shop. She sat her bike out front and walked towards the owner of the shop. Payton thought his name was TJ, but she wasn't exactly sure as he was fairly new to town. However, she knew he was a vampire from his scent. She got the feeling that he wasn’t too fond of werewolves, but Payton didn’t think he would turn away a customer.
With her hands in the pockets of her overalls she said, “Excuse me sir, but I was wondering if you had any spare car parts I could buy from you?”
