Zero had stayed the night at the ranch, having had nowhere else to go. He had decided to just hang around the ranch and see if he could find anything at all that might jog his memory. He watched the baby dragons curiously as he did so, "Such precious things, I wonder if you were somehow related to my past?" He hadn't asked Ofelia anything before she took off, but still tried not to get too close to the baby dragons, not wanting them to become attached as Ofelia had warned might happen.
