The professor's words were welcome; now Selna didn't need to regret coming all the way out here. She didn't bother to put those thoughts on her face, though. The lack of sleep was much more pressing; even now, gravity pulled her eyelids ever closer to the ground. Atop her head, Dean had been waking up. Now though, he sat attentively, listening to a blonde haired girl practically announce herself. "It's so nice to finally be here! I'm Elo-"
The world shook for a moment, sliding forward, then back. Or, rather, Dean's world did so. He panicked for half a moment, grasping tufts of pale blue hair. "Eeep!" a nearly inaudible gasp escaped him. Selna had succumbed to her drowsiness, head nodding. Dean knew this to be a matter of heroics; her parents had asked him, personally, to look after her, after all. As several more people joined the gathering people in this room, Dean was busy carefully reaching down.
Bap! Bap!
His tiny fist lightly smacked her nose, bringing her jolting awake. As jolting as she ever was. Just a light shake, but she was up again. "Oh, thanks Dean... Though I would have liked to sleep instead." She thought to herself, eyes focusing again on the professor. She now addressed even more people, much to Selna's suprise. She gave a cursory glance over them. "The blue haired fellow seems nice..." In reality however, Selna was terrible at first impressions, and only thought this because his hair was also a shade of blue.
