Within the span of less than a week everything changed...

four days ago, a teenage girl was busy enjoying life. Simple life of course, having fun like any normal teenager would do...Okay maybe not. Studying outside with a small bundle of books, a ball to pass the time after she needs to wake up. Some math work...Extra math work...Some language books...She wanted to get a nice job in the future, or at the very least have the knowledge to do many things.

After studying for at least an hours, the girl decided to take a quick break. The problems were getting more complex, and her head was getting overflowed with equations. However, the peace and quiet was broken rather abruptly. Ready to occupy herself with a ball, there was shouting...lots of shouting, the breaking of windows. What was going on? Some sort of robbery? She should go get the guards, something like this was not one to run from.

Grabbing at least one of her books not wanting to leave it behind, her parents paid for them after all but she could not carry too much. She was not that strong of course and when needed she might have to react fast. Besides, there were more important things to worry about than her books.

Getting up from the bench she was sitting on, she ran out from the small little park and onto the streets outside. The sight was...horrible to say the least. It was madness, the people were in a riot but why? Everything had been peaceful so far, there was nothing to get mad at. But everyone on the streets were doing whatever they wanted. Looking around for the guards she already noticed them already trying to quell this riot.

This was worse than she thought, there was one option now. She had to get to safety until things calmed down. If she tried something she would be surrounded by rioters. And if she made herself to be against them...There was no telling what would happen to her. She was sorry for the innocent people stuck in this mess but she should at least warn people on her way back to lock their doors, and stay safe.

She ran across the streets keeping her eyes open, areas that looked like there was no riot going on she made sure to call out at the top of her lungs. "Everyone! There's a riot! Please lock your doors! Stay safe!" She continued to shut and run back home. Those people that heard her voice looked out their windows, and those that did would hear the faint sounds of something horrible going on. They took the young girls advice. She was thankful for it when people began to close their windows and block it off.

Of course the riots continued all around her, of course even though she warned the people all she could hope for was that they possessed the strength to protect themselves. However, with all the shouting she was doing she caught the attention of someone. A block away from her home someone grabbed her by the wrist...hard...Someone was waiting in an alleyway and had ambushed her. She knew who this person was. Just a few years older than her, although he was a bit on the leaner side but this was one of her neighbors...well neighbors kid that is. She met him a few years ago, but he had been a jealous sort of kid, but what was going on to make him freely use force? There were no guards around so she was held tight without any hesitation.

"Woah there, why the hurry? Not like you have anything important that you need to do brat." He spoke. "Listen up, give me your money. Or else I'm gonna hurt you a lot. Understand?" He squeezed her wrist harder causing her to wince a bit. That hurt...But she had to be strong...She cant let him just do whatever he wants. What if he picked on someone younger or someone very old?

Clenching the hard covered book she got an idea...however she was not a fan of this idea. "I'm sorry for what I'm going to do...But I won't let you do what you want Ben!" She spoke firmly looking up at him.

Before the rowdy teenager could get a response in, the sight of a book came flying in his face in full force. Right smack at the bridge of his nose. The young man reeled back roaring in pain as he held his face as he fell to the floor. "Yu!....Fckin!...Bch!..." He screams in his hands as he held his nose.

She did not want to do this but at this point he had left her little choice, he probably would have taken advantage to take more of her things if she looked more timid, and that would teach him to pick on anyone else in the future. She backed away from the downed person before turning around and running back home.

Over the next few days, the riots have calmed down considerably...however it was more like the entire city was not in a frenzy anymore. There was still chaos in many parts of the city. Of course not letting these events get to her, she began to already get to work.

She went out to the streets with broom in hand. After having to barricade their little home with cabinets and wooden boards, the outside was a huge mess. Shattered glass, blood, splinters, broken boards. No sign of bodies thankfully...the Guards must have cleaned that up...

This did not seem very important but stepping on broken glass or splinters was bad. She wanted to make it safe to work without having to take care of herself due to injury. Hours must have passed, some people even came out to assist the girl. But their work was done, the ground was no longer a hazard. For them or even kids.

With a job well done, came the next step. Helping those in need. She may not be a nurse, she may not have much experience in medicine. But she at least knew how to take care of some injuries. She helped plenty of people to patch up wounds, using water to clean the wounds, rags to clean the wound afterwards and a small rag to cover the wound she repeated this many times. To the young, to the old, to those that needed the most assistance.

She repeated this process many times...for many people...Of course she made sure to check up on her friends. The events were so sudden and surprising she had to make sure they were okay. Thankfully they were.

"Thank goodness Camilia! We were all worried about you!"
"Your not injured are you? Oh my you have a bruised wrist!"
"Whoever did that to you I'll sock 'em for you!"

She had three Friends. They were all nice people albeit a bit more energetic than her. She chuckled a bit as they all gave their concerns for her. "Come on you three, I was more worried about you Nathan. And don't worry about my injury Natalie, it does not hurt that much I swear. And I already hit the person who did this Mark...But I'm sure you were there in spirit to help me hit him." The four then laughed together.

"As long as whoever hurt you got what was needed. So...What are you gonna do. We should stay in our homes."
"I agree, its too dangerous...I was nearly stuck at the marketplace, and it was a all out brawl there!"
"Yeah, its safer home."

Camilia simply shook her head and smiled. "I know its dangerous, but I can't sit back. Many people need help and I will be helping them. Don't worry you guys I will be fine." She spoke and as the three were about to say something they just smiled and nodded. "Stay safe then!" The three spoke in unison.

For the next three days she continued her assistance. Looking around where her help was needed but she soon had heard of something being organized to keep the peace, Hunters. For people to keep the peace why the name hunters? Why not the Guardian Knights? But she was young. She was certain they knew what they doing when they came up with the name. But one things for certain, to help bring back the peace she needed to become a hunter. One step at a time, no matter how small it was. She wanted to keep the peace because she was very worried for her family. For her friends.

The Hunters District, she wanted to volunteer! She made her way over there and gathered...in front of a boy that looked almost as young as her. Was this where she was supposed to meet at?...There was not many people around...She was nervous to say the least. This almost felt like getting ready to become a knight.
