The day was fresh as Lulu Brackenshield awoke in her new bungalow. She had moved in the previous day, after some sort of uproar. Lulu didn't know the first thing about that, nor did she care. She was just happy to be enrolled as a Rookie Hunter. She would be just like Papa! Hopefully. First, she had to prove herself. "Easy, peasy!" Lulu said in a light and cheerful voice. She changed from her light pink nightgown to her usual outfit. It framed her body well. Her hair was pulled into the style her mother liked the most and Lulu intended to keep it that way. Speaking of her mother, Lulu became a bit homesick. It was bittersweet to be away from Mama, but Lulu could get over it! Mama was happy!...until she had to leave. Then she was a blubbering mess! What a baby! Checking to make sure she had all the right things (waterskin, a small snack, and of course some sort of toy), the small girl was ready for her first day of training!
She was ushered to where the other Rookies were gathered. A girl, similar in appearance to her, stood next to a very stoic boy. There weren't many folks around, but that didn't stop Lulu from running up to the girl and the boy. "Hiiii! I'm Lulu! Are you here to be a Hunter too? It's gonna be a great day, I just know it!" Reaching out her hand towards the girl first, Lulu smiled. "What are your names?" The girl was practically jumping up and down with excitement. Of course, most people just stared at her with confusion, but this did not dampen her spirit at all. She stared with big eyes up at the pair, waiting almost impatiently for an answer.
