Sorry.” Lukas slipped a hand casually into his pocket. “Here,” he said almost apologetically, pulling out three of the charms he’d given Ambre earlier, “A protection charm for you, your brother and Yuki.” He held them out for her to take. “These charms provide general protection ranging from possession to physical attacks. They can also guard against a fatal attack, but after that, they’re going to be inactive for a bit. To recharge.”
Inside his pocket, a charm activated silently. Much needed peace washed over Lukas, and his lips quirked up. It was slightly happy, calmly exhausted and hard to notice, but it was still a smile. “I also found out information on the circle. Timed summoning circle for four different summons - the Dullahan, the demon, the monster Lady Minami handled and the slimes.” Lukas said matter of factly, ticking them off his fingers. “The smaller slimes are offspring of a larger slime. So we’ll need to find that. And…”
For the infinitesimal span of a few seconds, Lukas hesitated. But this was a question he needed to know. Steeling himself, looking up directly into Risako’s eyes for the first time, Lukas asked, "Is it alright for me to know what the households plans in regards to my sister? Please?”
