The laughing and brotherhood between all the guys was amazing. He hadn't had a chance to see any of them over the summer. His grandfather needed his advice on a public relations disaster. Apparently, a person's room wasn't clean properly, which was their fault. The worst part was someone recorded a screaming match between the concierge and this customer. It was a disaster on both ends and, but, thanks to Jax, the whole incident blew over. The rest of his summer was helping the family with the hotel. It was great getting to jet back between California, New York, and many other places, but he missed everybody at Fulton.
He didn't pay too much attention as Korinna left. River and Khari had just arrived and that meant everyone was here! He made sure to give both of them a big hug. He was an affectionate guy and they've gotten used to it by now. "Summer has been crazy for me, my bros. Traveling everywhere at once and constant work. I missed this place, though." When Jakub mentioned leaving to go to Sigma, Jax went on a crazy story about how he had to explain how he was randomly selected for a pat down at by the TSA and how the girl doing it was crazy hot. The story was more to distract the other guys. Some of the brothers, including Jax, liked to give his little a hard time over his crush on a certain Theta sophomore. Jax gave his little a wink as he went out the door.
With his little spared from unnecessary teasing, Jax checked his phone when one of the guys went into a story about his drunk streaking got him arrested over the summer. Jax heard it earlier and needed to check back with his lovely ladies.

River's text from him didn't need a response, but Jax made sure to slide up next to him. Jax and River were pretty similar background wise. They had successful families and a business destined for them to work for. The biggest difference was the lack of love in their households. Jax was lucky to have a good family and River wasn't so. Jax would've flew him out to stay with this summer, but didn't want to abandon River so that he could work. The boy is coming home with him for the holidays though. Jax will fight for it. He laid his head on River's shoulder, making a funny face at him. The boy needed to laugh more. Jax kept making faces when he suddenly heard, "Jax! Khari! I'm here for the ceremony! Where the hell are you guys?" Cornelius mentioned coming over, but he didn't know it would be so soon. He was always welcome at Sigma, but the bad blood between Cornelius and River was not welcome. Jax's eyes flew to Khari, sending him worried eyes. He tried to slyly make Khari go to Cornelius first. Jax had a better handle on River than Khari so maybe they could keep the peace for a while if they could keep the two separated. "So my favorite River, tell me all about the trouble we can get into this year. I've got a few pranks planned. Also, any food suggestions for dinner tonight? I'm thinking Mexican." Please don't notice my stalling.
