"Ahh I should make Ofelia a gift since she is bringing in my new cousin. Beluar can help me, since he a sweetie. Maybe you can take pointers from him. Learn to pick up nicer ladies.... no... you leave the nice ones alone. We have to keep a balance in the world. Tip the scales and it would be just damn madness everywhere. And I need to talk to that man who sold me that carving of the animal version of you. See if I can't ask him to make a statue one like it and have it sit outside your appointment door." Dol said and then looked at Jane. "Would y'all be getting any of that white wood soon? It's really pretty and I just got the last of them." She said.


Cora wiggled down from her chair and walked out. She wasn't hungry anymore. She went to Forrest's room and curled around a stuffed animal. Dawn had followed her and curled around her protectively. Ivie looked at Forrest, she wanted to thank him, but she needed to teach him to calm the hell down. "Forrest, next time, maybe not yell. Okay?" She said and he huffed. He went back to eating as she walked out. She knelt down next to her and pushed Cora's hair out of her face. "Sorry about that, you see how much we love when you talk. You don't have to talk again if you don't want, but your daddy is so scared right now. He loves you very much and he is just worried his baby girl is scared." She said softly.

Cora began to cry, "Why didn't he save mommy and me?"

Ivie about died. "Daddy didn't know you were around. Your mommy didn't tell your daddy that you were here. If he knew what was going on I know for a fact her would have saved you both. He loves you so much, Cora. He would do anything for you. So how about we show him how much you love him by speaking when he gets here. Okay?" She suggested softly.

Cora thought about it before nodding, "Can I go back and eat?" She asked. Ivie laughed softly.

"Of course, baby. Let's go." She picked up Cora and walked back into the kitchen. She sat Cora down and sat down herself before eating.


Loris chuckled and gently kissed her. "Never gonna say. Going to keep that one all to myself and you are just going to have be live with being tortured." He smiled in victory. He liked having that little card above her since she had so many above him. "I hope Ivie can get Cora to talk. Maybe since Ivie looks like a big kid, don't tell Blair I said that, maybe she would open up to her. I don't I am not thinking straight right now." He sighed and twirled Elise and pulled her to where her back was against him and leaned down, nibbling her neck. "Mmm I could eat you up." He whispered.
