Still eating the peach with the fruit in her other hand, she absentmindedly watched Pandora pick little piece of glass from her hand one by one. She was so distracted she almost didn't notice the voice that came from the entry to the kitchen area. Dropping the peach to the floor, she yanked her hand away and stepped in front of Pandora defensively, eyeing the blonde girl who no doubt was the owner of the house.
Man, she was never gunna hear the end of this one.
Still giving a sharp look at the girl, she wiped her hand on her scrub top to stop the blood from dripping on the floor. Quirking her eyebrow, she shot a look behind her to Pandora and asked, "so this wasn't your grandma's house after all?" As much as she didn't have a problem admitting to breaking into a house, especially since it was clear she had, Maggie really had no interest in explaining any of the situation to the girl before hand. Her tone was clearly sarcastic, so it wasn't really a lie. Turning to look back at the blonde, she shrugged her shoulders saying an unapologetic, "sorry about that."
Grabbing Pandora's hand in hers, she dragged her friend behind her and passed the blonde. Stepping over the broken glass, she whisked out the door, feeling partially sorry for her friend just wrapped in the towel. Not like they had much choice anyways. Panda definitely didn't have time to change before the blonde inevitably called the cops. Hopping off the porch, her brown eyes spotted the car in the driveway. She'd never driven one, but had no doubt she could hot-wire one. It would be faster than going on foot. Turning over to look at Pandora, she said, "I think I can break into the car." She just hoped she could be fast enough and the blonde wouldn't be dumb enough to follow them directly outside right away.
