"Hey Dawn," Frances said in a normal voice, which meant she would barely she heard over the noise, before looking back down to her screen.
Francesca recognized the young blonde she had taken a seat next to; even though she was mostly well-versed in names and faces of upperclassmen, Francesca had seen Dawn during practices. Had it not been for the current commotion in the chat, she would've immediately struck up a conversation with the girl.
"Did you see a hard-to-kidnap dude come in?"
Her attention was redirected from the screen to another face. Of course, the comment that followed her question made Francesca frown for a brief second. She just didn't understand why people came to the Renaissance fair and judged or mocked people who put effort into their attire and added ambiance to the fair. Francesca, of course, was one of those people that dressed up. Pushing the comment aside, Francesca knew that she would help. The name of the missing person had not been said, but she figured that at least if it wasn't a theater person, the last thing they needed was someone lost backstage.
"Who are we looking for?" Pitched in another voice.
Francesca recognized this girl at least since their ages lined up a little more, she just wasn't someone in her usual crowd. Her name was Ashley and, in response to her comment, Francesca nodded. "Yes, what's his name?" Francesca reiterated, standing up, her eyes already scanning the area around them.
