As the sun was just heading into the afternoon, a large force of people had decided to occupy one of the deeper parts of the woods that normal civilians would not go to. However, this group was not just made of normal civilians but in fact was filled with people who came from all sorts of background, and a number of which had combat abilities if not all of them.

That was because this was one of many Astrius Academy Field Trips, and this one was "officially" to help survival skills and on location combat training.

But anyone who saw this could only say it was a school field trip, that involved camping. Well, there were many different field trips and this just happened to be one of them.

However, one member of the field trip had decided to isolate himself for a bit. That member was Atrix Akir, and at the moment he was testing out his new powers and abilities. The ones that had been discovered that day. As he focused his mind, he felt the shadows...from his own shadow for that matter as well as others, creep up his body and then come to swirl around his arm. Surely enough, there was something there. It looked a bit like black mist right now, but it was definently something new.

"I wonder...could this be from my father's bloodline?"

Atrix never knew his father, just that it was someone his mother fell in love with while traveling. He had stayed with her for some time, and apparently Atrix was born because of their farewell night. Atrix got red in the face when he thought about it often, but he had to wonder what his father was like.

He had no idea his father was actually the Demon King that was supposedly killed 1000 years ago, Millen.

As he did this training, other games and activities began across the camp ground...some were not very themed to camping, such as video game competitions using magic power sources and such, and others were very typical camp stuff, but some involved advanced technology, magic, or both.

Supposedly they even had someone coming who would be hosting a big activity later that they hired.

But for now, Atrix worked on his powers and abilities, trying to learn just what he could do with them.
